MJC wishes Tanzania Competition Candidate well

The MJC President, Sh. Irafaan Abrahams, honoured the South African National Quran Winner for 2016, Hafith Laeeq Hattas, with his ticket and visa for participation in the 2017 Tanzania International Quran Award. The competition commences on Friday, 16 June 2017 and will see representatives of 14 nations participate in the finals of the event. South Africans previously obtained 2nd and 3rd positions in this competition which includes competitors from the Arab and Non-Arab Muslim world. Hafith Laeeq is a student of Hafith Mahdi Nakadien and the son of Nazeem and Zubaidah Hattas who guided their young son through his journey of memorising the Holy Quran.
