WATER CRISIS RESPONSE!!
The Muslim Judicial Council (MJC) in partnership with theDarul Islam Relief Fund (DIRF) Zakaah Fund has responded to an appeal for water from the Loeriesfontein communityas part of the 1st phase of our response to water crises across the country.
The 1st phase of the Water Project – “A Gift of Life”
It is our intention that the Project will provide the people in the Northern Cape who have been badly affected by the drought and are facing severe water restrictions with much needed water.
3 trucks depart from MJC offices carrying 50 000 litres of bottled water on Friday, 11 March 2016.
Each person will be supplied with 2 X 5 litre bottles of water (10 litres each), (which will last each person for at least two weeks,)Insha-Allah.
What can you do?
To assist with the project and to ensure that we continue to extend a helping hand to those in need, we appeal to our community to donate generously towards this much needed project. The cost is as follows:
1 person (10 litres) = R50
2 persons (20 litres) = R100
3 persons (30 litres) = R150
This price includes VAT, packaging, strapping and transportation!
