Islamic Judicial Services

The Qada arm functions co-independently within the MJC’s combined Fatwa and Qada structure.

The department provides Shariah-compliant wills, guidance on Islamic estate matters, mediation in estate disputes and Islamic distribution-of-estate certificates.

It also operates a Shariah court in which a Qadi presides over matters including Faskh, or annulment of marriage by judicial decree.
