Fatwa

All email queries are forwarded to the Mufti of the Fatwa Department for deliberation. The Mufti will then send a reply to Department Administrator who will then forward it to the original enquirer.

Wills

The MJC Fatwa Department offers the community the opportunity to draft Shariah-compliant wills. Clients will need to make an appointment to receive advice before the wills are drafted.

Distribution Certificates

A Distribution Certificate is a document listing the heirs of a deceased and the portions each one receives according to the Islamic Laws of Inheritance. The Certificates are issued to clients and attorneys as soon as all relevant documentation is forwarded to the Fatwa Department.
