MJC (SA) vehemently condemns the murder of police officers in the Eastern Cape

The Muslim Judicial Council (SA) vehemently condemns the senseless killings of five police officers and one off-duty soldier at the Ngcobo police station in the Eastern Cape today.

Taking the life of another human being is repulsive, let alone the killing of people who took the oath to protect the citizens of this country. We urge the police commissioner General Khehla Sitole to do all in his power to bring the murderers to book. As citizens of this country, we must to stand together and rid our beloved South Africa against all forms of criminal activity.

Our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. May Almighty Allah grant them patience and contentment during this time.
