The earthquake hitting south-eastern city of Khost, Afghanistan with unfortunate death and injury of hundreds of Afghans.

The Muslim Judicial Council (SA) conveys its deepest duas and thoughts to the people of Afghanistan. This tragedy that follows the many years of instability and loss of life in Afghanistan has caused the death of nearly 300 people.

May Allah (SWT) grant ease to the people of Afghanistan, may the grief of all who were afflicted with loss of loved ones, or injury and pain, may they find peace. May Allah (SWT) grant the deceased the highest of stages in Jannatul Firdous and join the deceased in the company of His chosen servants, Ameen Yaa Rabbal Aalameen

Allah (SWT) states in the al-Qur’an: “Give glad tidings to those who patiently endure, who say when afflicted with a calamity, ‘To Allah we belong and to Him we will return.’ They are those on whom (descend) blessings and mercy from their Lord, and they are the ones who are the guided.”
