MJC (SA) DQA MALE AND FEMALE COMPETITION FINALS

This weekend the Department of Quranic Affairs will be hosting its male and female competition finals, inshaLlah. Saturday, 25 June will be the males followed by the female renditions on Sunday, 26 June 2022. The venue for this beautiful program is set at Masjid al-Khair, Weltevreden Rd, Mitchells Plain, starting at 9am and 10am respectively.

We encourage our community to attend inshaLlah. Our participants have worked exceeding hard with multiple hours of preparation. May Allah bless them all and may our preservation of Quran continue.

The significance of the MJC

The MJC is a Muslim Judiciary whose main functions relate to religious guidance, education, Fatawa, Da'wah, Halaal certification and Social Development (especially marriage counseling). It is a Non-Profit Organization in a country where Muslims are a minority group. The MJC adheres to the code of belief of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah. It is the most representative and influential Muslim religious organization in the Western Cape, recognized locally, nationally and internationally for the religious, cultural and organizational roles it plays in South Africa.
