IMAM ABDULLAH HARON INQUEST
The MJC (SA) is pleased at the progress being made into the inquest of the murder of Imam Abdullah Haron. The premise that- justice delayed is justice denied- rings true to every activist and anti-Apartheid fighter. The democracy we enjoy today rests upon the sacrifices made by men and women who refused to give up hope. This relentless and continued fight has resulted into the fruits of democracy, freedom and now peace of mind for those who lost loved ones during the struggle. One such beloved son is Imam Abdullah Haron.
The steps taken by the Judge President of the Western Cape Division is an indication of progress albeit be delayed for so many years. We remain committed to the see this process of to its end and we encourage our community to follow the developments of the Imam Abdullah Haron inquest.
